Library Book Supplies

The Sherman Independent School District (SISD) is seeking sealed proposals for the purchase of library books, AV material, and supplies. The district is looking for qualified vendors offering discounts off of catalog/website prices, and published prices, or fair market value. The approved vendors are expected to service 2 early childhood centers, two alternative locations, seven elementary campuses, two middle schools, and one high school. The contract will be awarded in the best interest of SISD. Some key points to consider: • The contract term is from June 6, 2024, through June 30, 2030. • The district reserves the right to negotiate with any or all respondents and accept or reject any and/or all proposals. • The contract will be awarded based on the best value for the district, considering factors such as purchase price, reputation of the vendor, quality of the vendor's goods or services, and the vendor's past relationship with the district. • The district is exempt from federal excise tax and state tax, and vendors should not include tax in their bid totals.
