Library Book Supplies

The Sherman Independent School District (SISD) is seeking sealed proposals for the purchase of library books, AV material, and supplies. The approved vendors are expected to service 2 early childhood centers, two alternative locations, seven elementary campuses, two middle schools, and one high school. The contract will be awarded in the best interest of SISD. • The contract term will be from June 6, 2024, through June 30, 2030. • Vendors must provide discounts off catalog/website prices, published prices, or fair market value. • Vendors must agree to fully warrant and guarantee all information in their response. • The district reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive minor technicalities. Some key requirements for vendors include: • Providing a percentage discount based on the publisher's suggested list retail price • Offering shipping, accession numbers, laser-printed barcodes, and other services • Providing full MARC records for all books and price and date of purchase information • Complying with federal laws and regulations, including the Buy America Act and the Energy Policy and Conservation Act
