The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a comprehensive refresh of its VMware VxRail environment, encompassing the procurement of Dell PowerEdge servers, Cisco Nexus networking gear, APC rack and power solutions, and associated storage, together with professional services to deploy VMware Cloud Foundation 9.x, configure management and workload domains, and enable vSphere Kubernetes Service. The contract requires delivery of all hardware and completion of services by the second quarter of FY27 (approximately April‑June 2027).
