Individual Professional Liability Insurance

The Kansas Department on Aging and Disability Services is seeking competitive bid proposals from qualified vendors to cover the purchase of Individual Professional Liability Insurance coverage for each of the individuals listed, including but not limited to physicians, advanced registered nurse practitioners, doctors of osteopathy, physical therapists, and clinical psychologists. The contract period is from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2028. • The vendor must provide insurance coverage for all listed individuals. • The vendor must ensure that the policy(ies) be issued to incorporate the individual's retroactive date. • The vendor must provide individual Notice of Basic Coverage Information and Health Care Stabilization Fund surcharge payments to the Health Care Stabilization Fund Board of Governors. • The vendor must comply with all applicable federal and state laws, standards, orders, and regulations affecting a person's participation and eligibility in any program or activity undertaken by the vendor pursuant to this contract.
