Lakewood Avenue Safe Routes to School

The City of Sunnyvale is seeking a qualified contractor to perform comprehensive “Safe Routes to School” improvements at Lakewood Elementary, including curb extensions, ADA‑compliant curb ramps, new sidewalks, high‑visibility crosswalks, pavement striping, signage, street‑lighting upgrades, utility relocations, and green stormwater infrastructure. The scope covers demolition, storm‑drain installation, bioretention cells, water‑service upgrades, and associated traffic control and erosion‑control measures, all to be completed within a maximum of 110 working days. • Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and related services for roadway, sidewalk, and utility work. • Install new street‑lighting, storm‑drain system, bioretention, and water‑service components per City specifications. • Ensure compliance with ADA (PROWAG), CALTRANS standards, and green stormwater best practices.
