COTTONWOOD AVENUE PONDING MITIGATION AND SIM STREET IMPROVEMENT

The Clark County Department of Public Works is seeking qualified firms to bid on roadway improvements along Sim Street (Marley Way to Warm Springs Road) and ponding mitigation on the south side of Cottonwood Avenue (Swapp Drive to Heyer Street). Work includes removal and replacement of asphalt pavement, installation of signage and traffic signs, and reconstruction of storm‑drain infrastructure using reinforced concrete box sections. The project is confined to the existing right‑of‑way and residential driveways. • Remove existing asphalt and install new pavement on Sim Street. • Provide new traffic signs and pavement markings. • Re‑grade swales and replace storm‑drain pipe with 4 ft × 2 ft reinforced concrete boxes. • Perform all necessary appurtenances to deliver a complete, serviceable roadway. • Must comply with Clark County construction standards and environmental mitigation requirements.
