Districtwide Snow Removal

The Canyons School District (CSD) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide snow plow/removal services for the district. The contractor will be responsible for removing snow from designated areas, including driveways, sidewalks, and parking lots, and will be required to meet specific equipment and staffing requirements. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract, and the contractor will be evaluated based on their responsiveness to CSD's overall needs, competence and qualifications, pricing, and references. The contract will commence on the date of the RFP award and will continue for one year, with the option to extend annually for up to four additional years. Some key points to consider include: • Snow removal services will be required for various CSD locations, including high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools • Contractors must meet specific equipment requirements, including four-wheel drive trucks and back hoes with box plows • Contractors will be required to submit invoices within one week of performing the work • The contract will be evaluated based on a point system, with scores ranging from 1-5 • The contractor will be required to provide references, including a minimum of three and a maximum of five references from similar institutions
