Description
Palm Beach County is seeking qualified vendors to enter into a term contract for the supply, repair, and maintenance of Caterpillar equipment, OEM parts, and related services. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder(s) that meet all statutory, regulatory, and County-specific requirements, including vendor registration in the VSS system, compliance with safety standards, and adherence to local preference and small‑business development policies. Quotes must be submitted electronically or in person by the deadline, and all required certifications, licenses, and insurance documentation must accompany the response.
• Scope: Provide new Caterpillar equipment, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts, and ongoing service/maintenance under a term contract.
• Eligibility: Vendors must be registered in Palm Beach County’s Vendor Self‑Service (VSS) system; subcontractors must also be registered.
• Submission: Electronic or hard‑copy quotes due November 13, 2026 4:00 PM; questions due November 6, 2026 4:00 PM.
• Evaluation: Preference given to Small Business Enterprises (SBE) within 10 % of the lowest responsive bid; additional 5 % local‑preference discounts for County or Glades‑based firms.
• Required documentation: Signed quote form, certifications (drug‑free workplace, debarment, human‑trafficking affidavit, etc.), licenses, insurance, and SBE participation schedules.
