Real Estate Services Aircraft Maintenance Technician Program

Minnesota State, on behalf of Minneapolis Community & Technical College, is seeking a qualified commercial real‑estate broker/consultant to manage the full lease acquisition process for the college’s expanding Aircraft Maintenance Technician Program. The consultant will confirm space requirements, develop a search strategy, prepare and issue an RFP to property owners, evaluate proposals, negotiate lease terms, and ensure the selected site meets all code and program needs. The project targets a total of approximately 55,000 sq ft (including office, warehouse/hangar, and classroom/lab space) in the Twin Cities market, with a contract term from 30 April 2026 through 31 December 2027 and occupancy planned for August 2027. • Conduct space‑planning review and re‑confirm program‑specific real‑estate requirements. • Create and issue a secondary RFP to property owners, manage inquiries, and evaluate bids. • Perform market search, site selection, lease negotiation, and delivery of a lease agreement meeting Minnesota State’s specifications (10‑year term, two 5‑year extensions, ADA/life‑safety compliance, flexibility for future expansion).
