Professional Design Services for Crossroads District Multi-Use Commercial Development

The Mississippi State University is seeking professional design services for the Crossroads District Multi-Use Commercial Development project. The project includes multiple buildings with a mix of non-residential uses, such as office, retail, and food/beverage, and primary surface parking located at the rear of the site. The design should reinforce the established Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND) character of the adjacent Cotton District. The selected firm will provide complete professional design services, including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding/negotiation support, and construction administration. • The project site is located directly across University Drive from the under-construction Hotel Madelon, between Camp Avenue and Highway 12, in Starkville, MS. • The design should prioritize pedestrian connectivity, ADA routes, and screening for dumpsters, loading, and mechanical from public view. • The selection process will be based on qualifications, and a selection committee will review all proposals received. • The submission deadline is January 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
