V--GRSM FONTANA CEMETERY VISITATION TAXI

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park (GRSM) of The National Park Service (NPS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with FONTANA VENTURES LLC to provide transportation services for cemetery visitation by boat. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and supervision to transport visitors across Lake Fontana to predetermined locations on the North Shore of Fontana Lake. The services will entail picking up visitors at predetermined locations and shuttling them back and forth. The contractor must have at least two transportation boats available that meet all Coast Guard permitting requirements and have a ramp-type device to safely load passengers, including those in wheelchairs and walkers. • The contractor must have at least two transportation boats available for visitations. • One of the transportation boats must have a legal carrying capacity of at least 21 guests. • Transportation boats must have a ramp-type device to safely load passengers at all pickups/stops. • The contractor must provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and supervision required to provide transportation for cemetery visitation.
