REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / MARKET RESEARCH TO ACQUIRE A TRAINING FACILITY

The United States Coast Guard is conducting market research to identify potential locations for an additional training center. The Coast Guard seeks to evaluate existing facilities or properties that can be adapted to meet the infrastructure requirements for recruit training and can be operational within 12 months of acquisition or lease. The facility should meet most of the following requirements: lodging for 1,200 recruits, a dining facility capable of seating 400 personnel, a medical facility to support 1,000 personnel, 14 classrooms, an auditorium with a capacity of 500+ students, a pool, a multipurpose gymnasium, office space for 400 staff members, and a land area of 150-250 acres.
