UNCLAIMED PROPERTY AUDIT SERVICES

The State Treasurer’s Office of South Carolina is seeking up to six qualified firms to perform unclaimed‑property audit services on a contingency‑fee basis. Contractors will be responsible for obtaining authorization, conducting full‑scope audits of up to ten prior reporting years, preparing NAUPA‑formatted reports, remitting recovered cash and securities, and providing periodic progress updates. Compensation is a 10.25 % fee on the net value of property recovered, with optional hourly rates for non‑contingency work. The award will be based on technical experience, audit methodology, staff qualifications, and past performance, with a five‑year base term and a possible two‑year renewal.
