Legal Services for Probate Court Matters

The Genesee County is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide legal counsel to individuals subject to petitions for mental health treatment and individuals subject to petitions for adult guardianship and/or conservatorship. The contract also includes representation on deceased estate matters where an interested party is not appropriately represented due to minority or otherwise. Other legal services are required on an infrequent basis. Key aspects of the proposal include: • Providing legal counsel to individuals subject to petitions for mental health treatment • Providing legal counsel to individuals subject to petitions for adult guardianship and/or conservatorship • Representation on deceased estate matters • Other legal services as required • The proposal should include a cost proposal form with prices for various services • The proposal should include a familial relationship sworn statement
