The County of Ocean is seeking a contractor to supply tires for their vehicles. The contractor must provide new, original equipment level tires that meet federal safety standards and regulations. The tires must be of good commercial quality and produced using current manufacturing processes. The contract will be awarded to up to three bidders with the largest percentage discount. The County spends approximately $250,000 on tires in a 12-month period and expects to spend a similar amount under this contract. • The contractor must provide a copy of the manufacturer's standard warranty for all groups of tires being offered. • The contractor must provide contact information, including name, phone number, email, and fax number, for quote requests. • The County reserves the right to order any quantity necessary to meet their requirements, with no guarantee to purchase any amount of product from any bidder. • The contractor must provide three price quotes for price comparison, including manufacturer's part number, current retail price, percentage of discount, and net price.
