On Call Professional Engineering, Architectural and Related Services

The City of Farmington is seeking professional services from engineering, architectural, or related firms to provide a variety of services on an as-needed basis. The services may include but are not limited to engineering, architectural, landscaping, civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation, controls, or other related services. The firm(s) determined to be the most qualified will receive a service contract. The contract will be for one year, with the option to renew for three additional consecutive one-year periods. The City has known and unknown future projects that may require professional services, including projects listed in the City's 30-year capital outlay plan. Some key responsibilities of the selected firm will include: • Providing an in-depth analysis or scope completion based on the need of the project • Following the most recent version of the City's Technical Specifications, NMDOT Specifications, APWA, State adopted codes/amendments, or any other specifications that may delegate the specialty project with City project lead approval • Conducting necessary site visits to inspect the project as needed • Coordinating meetings with end users to obtain information required to provide a complete understanding of department functionality • Identifying efficiencies/deficiencies as well as potential cost-effective renovation/rehab opportunities and making recommendations to City staff • Completing all design phases that may be required for the specific job awarded • Collaborating with City leaders and the using Department to work within budgeting constraints to achieve a successful project • Participating in the construction bid process and providing construction administration services if approved by the City project lead and purchasing with appropriation of funds.
