MDFR Fire Station 35 New Four-Fold Xt Exterior Doors

The Miami‑Dade County Fire Rescue is seeking a qualified general building contractor to replace two overhead doors at Fire Station 35 with new Four‑Fold XT exterior bi‑fold doors, including all associated structural and electrical work. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, and manage site protection, debris removal, and finish work while ensuring no disruption to fire‑station operations. Work must be coordinated with Door Engineering for fabrication, and all shop drawings must be approved before fabrication. The project requires compliance with NEC, FBC, MCC‑7360 safety standards, and a three‑year labor warranty. • Remove & demolish existing two overhead doors; install new Four‑Fold XT bi‑fold doors with bollard detail, floor signage, and presence sensors. • Perform structural modifications per sheets A‑1.0, A‑2.0 and electrical installation per sheet E‑1.0, meeting all code requirements. • Protect the active fire station with visqueen plastic, manage daily debris removal, provide dumpster(s), and restore any disturbed grounds; work may be required off‑hours/weekends at no extra cost.
