Description
The City of Wilmington is seeking a qualified general contractor to replace fire‑damaged structural members of Shelter #1 in Halyburton Park, perform demolition, install new glulam beams, roof decking, metal roofing, and associated electrical components, and apply protective sealants. The work must adhere to EnWood Structures specifications and include thorough inspection, documentation, and warranty provisions.
• Demolition of damaged laminated arch beams, roof decking, fascia, metal roof, and conduit.
• Installation of two new 5” × 9 3⁄8” Southern Yellow Pine arch beams, a 48‑ft laminated beam, new roof decking, pressure‑treated fascia, metal roofing, drip‑edge, and waterproof electrical receptacle with conduit.
• Application of clear penetrating sealers to all exposed glulam members, provision of material data sheets, warranties, and final as‑built documentation.
• Contract term of 60 days, with invoices paid within 30 days of approval.
