Medical Simulator Operator Service

The US Air Force is seeking a certified Medical Simulation Operator to provide technical and administrative support for high-fidelity patient simulator systems at the Critical Care Air Transport Team Sustainment Training Center (CCATT-STC) in St. Paul, MN. The contractor will work up to 480 hours annually, with a flexible schedule coordinated with the class schedule, and will be responsible for setting up, operating, and recovering simulation equipment and environments, as well as assisting with train-the-trainer activities and performance evaluations. The contractor must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in operating simulation systems, medical simulation certification, and at least one year of clinical experience in a military or civilian setting. Some key responsibilities and requirements include: • Providing technical expertise and support on operating high-fidelity patient simulator systems • Assisting with the use of advanced learning technologies and methodologies to improve medical education and training for healthcare teams • Preparing training environments, operating simulation equipment and assets, and recovering equipment and environments • Effectively operating simulation equipment, task trainers, computerized hi-fidelity simulators, and virtual reality procedural trainers • Assisting with train-the-trainer activities and basic equipment troubleshooting • Maintaining all security and training requirements
