Dark Fiber/IRU Service

The University of Utah is seeking a qualified vendor to provide Dark Fiber/IRU Service for the Utah Education and Telehealth Network (UETN). The selected vendor will be responsible for providing a dedicated broadband network solution, including the installation and maintenance of fiber optic cables, and ensuring high availability and high bandwidth services. The contract is expected to be for a period of 20 years, with the option for renewal. The University is looking for a vendor that can provide a reliable and efficient service, with a strong focus on customer support and maintenance. • The vendor must provide a detailed proposal, including a technical proposal, cost proposal, and service level agreement. • The vendor must have experience in providing similar services to large organizations. • The vendor must be able to provide a high level of customer support, including 24/7 phone support and regular maintenance. • The vendor must be able to provide a detailed plan for the installation and maintenance of the fiber optic cables. • The vendor must be able to provide a strong service level agreement, including metrics for service availability and response times.
