Shipboard Fairbanks Morse Diesel Engine System Sustainment Plan (SSP)

PAE Maritime is conducting market research (Sources Sought) to identify qualified sources capable of providing comprehensive sustainment support for U.S. Navy Fairbanks Morse Defense diesel engines on surface ships worldwide. The effort may result in a future indefinite‑delivery, indefinite‑quantity (IDIQ) contract or multiple awards covering materiel support, technical expertise, engine overhaul, and emergent field services. Respondents are asked to describe their capabilities, past performance, and any teaming arrangements. • Diesel materiel support – provisioning of “Pit Stop” CONEX boxes, rotable inventories, and overhaul parts packages. • Embedded technical expertise at Navy Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activities (SIMAs) for training and maintenance oversight. • Engine overhaul and unit‑exchange services with a mandatory 45‑day turnaround for major overhauls. • Global unplanned and emergent field services for rapid troubleshooting and repair worldwide. • Capability certification matrix to detail organic, OEM, subcontractor, or developmental performance methods.
