Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division will award a sole‑source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to Defense Maritime Solutions for engineering and technical support of the Littoral Combat Ship Independence Variant (LCS‑2V) waterjet systems. The work focuses on maintaining, improving, and troubleshooting the mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components of the waterjets and associated equipment. This effort is intended to enhance reliability, reduce lifecycle costs, and sustain mission readiness for the fleet.
• Provide engineering analysis, design modifications, and technical support for four externally mounted waterjets per ship, including the Hydraulic Power Unit, Waterjet Control Unit, and Power‑Take‑Off pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective actions on mechanical, hydraulic, and electric control systems.
• Deliver documentation, training, and logistical support to ensure operational readiness throughout the contract period.
