Forest Grove Permanent Supportive Housing Project: Architect RFP

The Housing Authority of Washington County is seeking a qualified Architect to provide design, permitting, construction documentation, and administration services for a new permanent supportive housing project containing 45 to 60 units. The project aims to provide a dignified, safe, and supportive living environment for individuals experiencing homelessness. The selected Architect will work with a development team, including a development consultant and a construction manager/general contractor, to ensure the project meets the client's expectations. The scope of work includes design, construction, and administration of the project, as well as compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations. • The project will be designed to meet sustainability requirements and will include program offices, common interior and exterior amenities, and back-of-house spaces to support future residents. • The Architect will be responsible for reviewing and commenting on the project's budget and schedule. • The project will be constructed using a CMGC contracting approach with a GMP contract. • The Architect will be required to provide insurance as required by the County. • The project has an aspirational goal to award 30% of the total contract dollar value to MWESB firms.
