School of Medicine Expansion Facility Commissiong Agent

The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking a single, highly qualified Commissioning Agent to provide full‑building commissioning services for the new School of Medicine Expansion Facility. The scope covers independent verification of all building systems from design through post‑occupancy, development of commissioning plans, functional testing, issue tracking, training, and warranty‑period performance verification. The contractor will work closely with UNM’s design team, CMAR, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure the facility meets Owner’s Project Requirements, codes, and standards. • Develop and maintain commissioning plans, checklists, test scripts, and issue logs for a complex health‑care/academic research building. • Perform design‑phase reviews, construction‑phase inspections, functional performance testing, and post‑occupancy validation, including seasonal warranty testing. • Coordinate with multiple UNM stakeholder groups, the construction manager, and regulatory bodies, providing training and turnover documentation for building operators.
