ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORD (EHR) SYSTEM

The Department of Children and Families (DCF) is seeking information from interested parties to provide an Enterprise Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for the Department's three State Mental Health Treatment Facilities (SMHTFs). The EHR system should be able to support the facilities' clinical, technical, and business processes, and provide a comprehensive and integrated solution for patient care. The system should include features such as admission, discharge, and transfer (ADT) management, clinical evaluations and assessments, treatment planning, progress notes, medication management, and laboratory integration. The Department is looking for a system that is certified, scalable, and secure, and that can provide real-time access to patient data and support the facilities' operational efficiency. • The EHR system should be able to support the facilities' current staffing levels, which include approximately 2,700 projected civil and forensic beds. • The system should be able to provide role-based access control, data encryption, and audit logs to ensure the security and confidentiality of patient data. • The Department is looking for a system that can be implemented within a reasonable timeframe, and that can provide training and support for the facilities' staff. • The system should be able to integrate with other systems, such as laboratory management systems and pharmacy management systems. • The Department is looking for a system that can provide reporting and analytics capabilities, and that can support the facilities' quality improvement initiatives.
