The Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department is seeking a design‑build partner to construct two new electrical facilities at the Western Region Wastewater Treatment Facility (WRWWTF) in Belle Glade, FL. The scope includes: • Design and construction of a new Main Electrical Building consolidating existing electrical rooms, generators, and fuel storage. • Design and construction of a new Deep Injection Well (DIW) Electrical Building with air‑conditioned space for VFDs and associated equipment. • Provision of site civil work, storm‑water management, flood‑elevation compliance, structural concrete and masonry, electrical distribution, fire‑protection, HVAC (VRF system), and associated controls. • Estimated project schedule of 27 months with a total construction budget of approximately $11.5 million. • Required elevations of 19 ft NAVD88 to meet local flood‑resilience guidelines. • No process equipment, parking, or additional landscaping is included. • The contractor will be responsible for detailed design, permitting, construction, testing, and commissioning of both buildings.
