Cascade System

The New Castle County Vo-Tech School District is seeking bids for a Cascade System, which includes a fire cascade system requirement. The contract will be valid for one year from November 25, 2025, to November 25, 2026, with the possibility of three one-year extensions. The system must meet specific technical requirements, including a four-stage air-cooled compressor, a purification system, and a control system. The bidder must provide a complete statement of the origin, composition, and manufacture of any material to be used in the contract. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. Key features of the system include: • A four-stage air-cooled compressor • A purification system to remove water vapor, hydrocarbons, noxious gases, taste, and odors • A control system with air pressure switch, high air temperature shutdown, and low oil pressure switch • Instrumentation, including gauges and lights to indicate normal and shutdown conditions • Optional accessories, such as a carbon monoxide monitoring system and a moisture monitoring system
