OHWS Cleaning Services

The US Air Force is seeking information from potential contractors to provide Healthcare Aseptic Management services for the 388th Fighter Wing's Optimizing the Human Weapon System (OHWS) program. The services include non-personal medical housekeeping services such as aseptic cleaning, protection, and beautification of all rooms and areas identified for coverage at the medical patient care facility. The contractor will be responsible for providing all equipment, cleaning supplies, and consumable supplies necessary to perform the services. The contractor must comply with various regulations and standards, including those related to environmental protection, occupational safety, and health. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must have experience in providing Healthcare Aseptic Management services. • The contractor must comply with the Association for Healthcare Environment (AHE) Practice Guidance for Healthcare Environmental Cleaning Standards. • The contractor must provide a certified copy of a current International Sanitary Supply Association Cleaning Industry Management Standard for Green Buildings (ISSA CIMS-GB) certification. • The contractor must comply with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Comprehensive Procurement Guidelines (CPG) program. • The contractor must provide bio-based products that meet Green Seal Product Standards.
