Employee Insurance Broker

Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) is seeking a broker to manage employee healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and tax advantage plans. The selected broker will be responsible for administrative guidance, reporting, communication, benefit automation, open enrollment, wellness support, customer support, and compliance resources. The broker will also be expected to provide professional services, including troubleshooting and resolving employee issues with health carriers, and providing resources to stay up to date with laws, regulations, and best practices. • The contract is expected to begin on January 1, 2026, and the scope of work is expected to start shortly after September 15, 2025. • The broker will be responsible for managing employee healthcare benefits for approximately 900 students and 531 employees (full and part-time) at NEOMED. • The broker will be expected to provide monthly reporting metrics, including medical and pharmacy claim costs, employee utilization, and high claims expense. • The broker will be responsible for communicating effectively with employees on benefit options and providing resources to support an in-house wellness program.
