Musical Instruments

The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors to furnish and deliver musical instruments and related equipment to support the Elizabeth City State University Music Degree Program. The university seeks to acquire new musical instruments that meet the technical and performance requirements necessary for collegiate-level music instruction, applied study, ensemble participation, and other academic activities associated with the Music Degree Program. Key requirements include: • Identifying whether each item is currently in stock • Identifying anticipated ship dates • Identifying any known manufacturer backorders • Stating the number of calendar days required for delivery after receipt of order • Providing notification of any anticipated delays The contract term is one year, and the university reserves the right to request documentation supporting inventory availability and delivery commitments prior to contract award. • The acquisition of musical instruments is intended to strengthen instructional capacity, support student recruitment and retention efforts, improve access to quality educational resources, and contribute to overall student success. • The procurement is funded in part through federal Title III grant funds and is subject to applicable federal and State requirements. • Vendors must complete and return the required attachments, including the Pricing, Instructions to Vendors, North Carolina General Terms and Conditions, Lobbying Activity Certification for Federal Grants, Customer Reference Form, Location of Workers Utilized by Vendor, Certification of Financial Condition, and Vendor Request for EO50 Price-Matching.
