Law Enforcement Liaison

The State of Idaho seeks a qualified firm to serve as the primary Law Enforcement Liaison (LEL) for the Office of Highway Safety, providing statewide coordination, evaluation, grant‑management, training, and high‑visibility enforcement support across all six transportation districts. The contractor will act as the central point of contact between OHS and Idaho law‑enforcement agencies, delivering quarterly reports, newsletters, and performance monitoring to advance the state’s traffic‑safety priorities (impaired, distracted, occupant‑protection, and aggressive driving). The work includes agency assessments, grant application reviews, HVE campaign coordination, training delivery, task‑force facilitation, and annual reporting, with a one‑year initial contract term renewable up to five years. • Conduct agency evaluations, site visits, and written reports. • Review and assist with traffic‑safety grant applications and compliance monitoring. • Coordinate high‑visibility enforcement campaigns, training programs, and stakeholder engagement activities.
