RFP - Digital Signs

The CroSwell Lexington Community Schools are soliciting proposals for the design, demolition, supply, installation, and electrical integration of new digital signage at Frostick Elementary in Cro­swell, MI. The scope includes removal of the existing illuminated sign, provision of LED‑display cabinets, mounting hardware, conduit and power work, and coordination with the sign manufacturer for data and power connections. The contractor must comply with Michigan building, electrical, and fire codes, provide all new wiring (minimum #12 AWG THHN in ¾” conduit), install a new NEMA 3R disconnect, and ensure weather‑tight conduit penetrations. The project is part of a larger remodel and requires field verification of underground utilities, demolition of existing signage, and delivery of a fully operational digital sign system. • Remove existing sign and associated electrical components. • Provide and install LED‑display cabinets (approx. 4’‑8” H × 9’‑3” W). • Supply power, data conduit, and NEMA 3R disconnect. • Coordinate with sign manufacturer for mounting and data pull‑string. • Meet all applicable Michigan Building, Energy, and Electrical Codes. • Complete all work on schedule and obtain necessary permits and inspections.
