ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES

Knox County Schools is seeking a professional architectural firm to provide design services for the roofing replacement at Farragut Intermediate School and Farragut Middle School. The scope of work includes providing full architectural and engineering services from design through construction administration for a total roof replacement of approximately 250,000 SF of metal roofing and 1,000 SF of membrane roofing, as well as replacement of the existing metal fascia, soffits, and siding. The selected firm will be required to provide a detailed description of their credentials, experience, and approach to the project, including resumes of key personnel, information on similar projects, and a proposed approach to the design and materials selection process. • The project requires compliance with all applicable regulations, including City, County, State, and Federal codes, laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations. • The selected firm will be required to provide professional liability insurance with a minimum amount of $1,000,000 for each occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate. • The contract will be negotiated using the AIA Document B101-2017, with owner-required modifications. • The firm's proposed approach should include a description of their unique capabilities, experience in communicating with clients, and approach to the overall design and materials selection process.
