Temporary Staffing

The Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration’s Office of Statewide Strategic Sourcing is creating a five‑year statewide Pre‑Approved Vendor List (PVL) for temporary staffing services. Vendors will be evaluated on experience, ability to meet a 48‑hour staffing requirement, and competitive hourly rates for four staffing categories (general office support, administrative office support, accounting office support, and warehouse clerk) across eight geographic regions. Successful vendors will be placed on the PVL and may receive indefinite‑quantity, fixed‑price orders from any state agency for the duration of the contract. • Minimum qualifications: ≥ 2 years in temporary‑staffing, ≥ 40 placements in the past two years, two client references, and required insurance. • Required deliverables include a pool of qualified workers available within 48 hours, payroll administration, background‑check handling, and a dedicated account representative. • Pricing is hourly (standard, weekend, holiday); bids must not exceed 125 % of the mean of all responsive bids for each category‑region. • Contract term runs Feb 1 2027 – Jan 31 2032; agencies may award contracts through Jan 31 2030, with possible extensions to the 2032 end date.
