The Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID) is seeking a qualified Design‑Build team to completely redesign and replace the existing snowmaking infrastructure at Diamond Peak ski area. The effort includes full engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical, controls), permitting‑ready documentation, and, if later authorized, phased construction of high‑pressure water distribution, power, communications, and automated snow‑gun systems. The selected team must hold Nevada‑licensed engineers of record, possess extensive experience with snowmaking or similar high‑pressure water/air systems, and provide a safety and environmental management plan for work in the Lake Tahoe region.
• Replace ~56,000 LF of aging water/air mains, upgrade central compressed‑air facilities, and install ~92 automated tower‑mounted snow‑gun vaults with 480 V power, controls, and communications.
• Deliver complete design‑build documents (permit‑ready, construction‑ready) and, if awarded, manage phased construction while maintaining existing snowmaking service.
• Provide engineering for hydraulic modeling, pipe sizing, electrical load analysis, automation integration, and commissioning; include training and as‑built documentation.
• Project budget roughly $8 M for construction; IVGID expects design‑build fees to be submitted after short‑list selection.
