Fiber Installation, Splicing, and Repair Service

The City of Norwich is seeking a vendor to provide fiber installation, splicing, troubleshooting, and repair services. The selected vendor will be required to install fiber cable, splice closures, prepare the cable and fibers for termination, and perform fusion splicing of single-mode fibers. The vendor may also be required to acquire shorter lengths of fiber, boots, and patch panels. • The services will be provided on an as-needed basis. • The vendor must be able to install fiber cable, splice closures, and perform fusion splicing. • The vendor may be required to acquire materials such as fiber, boots, and patch panels. • The services will be provided in Norwich, CT.
