The Indian Health Service (IHS) is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of providing secure electronic healthcare claims clearinghouse services. The services should include secure transmission and receipt of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance claims and electronic remittance transactions, technical support, system maintenance, and secure connectivity with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and other authorized payers. The anticipated ordering period is one base period with four one-year option periods. • The vendor should have experience providing healthcare claims clearinghouse services. • The vendor should have experience supporting Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial claims processing. • The vendor should have experience with HIPAA-compliant electronic data interchange (EDI) transactions. • The vendor should have experience supporting Federal, Tribal, or healthcare organizations. • The vendor should have technical support capabilities. • The vendor should have relevant past performance.
