TACTICAL TRAINING

The Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) is seeking a contractor to provide tactical training services for military and civilian security forces. The training will focus on tactical scenario-based training exercises and live-fire familiarization, with the goal of improving tactics, techniques, and procedures for confronting aggressors, protecting high-value assets, and standing post. The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, equipment, and facilities necessary to perform the training. The training will be conducted at a live-fire range and tactical training facility provided by the contractor, within a 1-hour drive and 50-mile radius of NNSY, Portsmouth, VA. The contractor must be capable of scheduling and providing training services within 30 days of a government request. Some key aspects of the job include: • Providing tactical scenario-based training and live-fire familiarization • Developing and executing training plans to meet the objectives of the contract • Providing a fully qualified staff, including Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Range Safety Officers (RSOs) • Complying with all applicable Department of Defense (DoD) security regulations and procedures • Providing all necessary equipment, including weapons, ammunition, and protective gear • Maintaining weapons and ensuring physical security of all arms
