Workers’ Compensation Third Party Administrator (TPA)

The City of Reno is seeking a Third Party Administrator (TPA) to provide services for its self-funded workers' compensation insurance program. The TPA will be responsible for investigating claims, determining eligibility for benefits, authorizing medical treatment, and ensuring timely payment of benefits. The City is looking for a TPA that can deliver objective and measurable results, reduce the cost and duration of claims, and provide strong communication with injured employees and the City. The contract term will be from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2031, with options to renew for an additional three years.
