Description
The USAF KC‑46A Program Office is seeking industry input on establishing an organic software Operations & Sustainment capability for the KC‑46 Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL) located at Tinker AFB, OK. The RFI solicits information on a contractor’s ability to serve as a system integrator for software maintenance, hardware‑in‑the‑loop lab operations, avionics integration, FAA/DoD certification, cybersecurity, and training for the SIL environment. Responses are purely for market research; no contract award is guaranteed at this stage.
• Provide integrated software sustainment, patching, and lifecycle support for the KC‑46 SIL.
• Operate and maintain complex HIL lab topologies, including ARINC, MIL‑STD‑1553B, and ARINC 653 partitioning.
• Demonstrate expertise in FAA and military certification (DO‑178B/C, DO‑254) and RMF cyber‑survivability.
• Offer training curriculum development and potential partnership analysis for the K‑SWISS effort.
• Submit interest level, past performance, and any existing OEM relationships (Eaton, Collins, Boeing, etc.).
