The contract will be awarded for an initial one‑year period with the option to renew up to four additional one‑year terms, covering medication dispensing, inventory management, compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations, integration with the state’s electronic health record system, and participation in the Surescripts network. The vendor must demonstrate capability to serve dual‑eligible (Medicare/Medicaid) and Medicaid‑only residents, maintain strict HIPAA and E‑Verify compliance, and adhere to Buy‑American preferences where applicable. Budget estimate

$30,000 – $50,000

The solicitation lists FY24‑FY26 pharmacy expenditures ranging from $34,080.84 to $38,423.45, indicating the state’s anticipated annual spend for these services is in the mid‑$30 k range. Considering the contract includes additional compliance, reporting, and system‑integration requirements, the total contract value is likely modest—estimated between $30,000 and $50,000 per year. Factors influencing the final amount include the number of residents served, medication volume, any price‑adjustment clauses, and potential renewal periods.
