Description
Twiggs County, Georgia is seeking qualified contractors to resurface approximately 2.2 miles of Walters Road. The work includes traffic control, placement of ~2,840 tons of 9.5 mm RAC Superpave asphalt at a 2‑inch depth, striping, and all related appurtenances. Bids must be sealed, include a 10 % bid bond, and be submitted by 5 p.m. on November 17, 2026. The contract will be awarded after a bid opening on November 19, 2026, and the contractor must complete the project within 180 consecutive calendar days of receiving a notice to proceed. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and may engage in discussions, negotiations, and revisions prior to award.
