Farmville, VA - Farmville Regional Airport - Replace RW 3-21 PAPI'S (24062)

This project involves the removal of existing incandescent PAPI (Precision Approach Path Indicator) units on both ends of Runway 3‑21 at Farmville Regional Airport and the installation of new LED PAPI systems, along with associated electrical upgrades. The work includes demolition of two‑unit incandescent PAPI systems, replacement with four‑unit LED PAPI units, replacement of the PAPI Constant Current Regulator in the electrical vault, installation of approximately 650 ft of new conduit, and laying about 3,500 ft of new cable in both new and existing conduit runs. The contractor will be responsible for all electrical and civil work necessary to bring the new lighting system into operation. • Demolish existing incandescent 2‑unit PAPI systems on both runway ends. • Install new 4‑unit LED PAPI systems with updated Constant Current Regulator. • Run ~650 ft of new conduit and ~3,500 ft of cable to support the new lighting. • Perform all related electrical and civil work to integrate the new system with existing airport infrastructure.
