RFP for Financial Auditing Services

The Town of Camp Verde is seeking a qualified, licensed certified public accounting firm to provide professional financial auditing services. The selected vendor will perform an annual financial and compliance audit of the Town's financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), Government Auditing Standards (GAS), Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200), and State of Arizona audit requirements. The scope of work includes annual audit and issuance of an opinion on the Town's financial statements, review and assistance with the preparation of the Town's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), preparation and submission of the Annual Expenditure Limitation Report (AELR), and compliance audit of Federal grant programs. The Town is looking for a firm with experience in providing similar services to municipalities. • The selected vendor will be required to provide financial auditing services for a period of one year, with options for renewal. • The vendor will be required to submit a proposal that includes a firm overview, firm experience, project team, project approach, and price proposal. • The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities. • The selected vendor will be required to enter into an agreement with the Town, which will include terms and conditions for the provision of services.
