Streetscape Phase II Project 0810-2026

The City of Washington, North Carolina, is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide professional services for Phase II of the Downtown Streetscape Project. The selected firm will provide services related to the design and preparation of construction plans, cost estimating, bidding assistance, construction administration, and construction observation for the continued redevelopment of the downtown streetscape. The project includes improvements along portions of Market Street and Main Street and will also require coordination associated with the relocation of existing utility services. • The project is divided into three distinct sub-phases: Market Street from 2nd Street to Main Street, Market Street from Main Street to Water Street, and Main Street from Bridge Street to just before Gladden Street. • The City is seeking firms with experience performing comparable streetscape projects in communities similar to Washington. • The consultant shall demonstrate the ability to provide cost estimation, construction documents, bidding assistance, and construction administration and observation services. • The consultant shall provide a list with a minimum of two references that the City of Washington may use to contact regarding the consultant’s qualifications.
