Rifles with Trade-In

The City of Asheville Police Department is seeking a qualified firearms dealer to supply 31 new Smith & Wesson M&P 15 semi‑automatic rifles, each equipped with a Streamlight PROTAC rail‑mount light and a Trijicon MRO‑SD red‑dot sight, and to accept a trade‑in of up to 92 used firearms. The contract is an informal bid (IBR) requiring firm prices for at least 60 days, with delivery to be specified by the bidder. Bids must be emailed, include a valid Federal Firearm License, and be submitted by the November 13 deadline. • 31 new rifles (M&P 15 SBR) with specific accessories must be supplied new and unused. • 31 lights and 31 optics are required, with all unit prices inclusive of freight and exclusive of sales tax. • Up to 92 used firearms will be traded in; the vendor must provide unit and extended prices for each trade‑in item and arrange pickup. • All bids must include the vendor’s FFL certificate and be signed by an authorized representative. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids; discounts are not considered in award.
