LGL COUNSEL PERS INJ. PROTECT. (PIP) INS. CLAIMS- FR ETS

Palm Beach County is seeking legal counsel services to advise and represent the County in matters related to personal injury protection (PIP) insurance claims arising from fire rescue emergency transport services. The selected lawyer or law firm will provide legal advice, representation, and services to the County to maximize PIP payments, including account and claim review, demand letters, legal action, and other issues relating to claim filing, billing, and collections. The contract is expected to be for a period of three years, with two one-year renewal options. Some key aspects of the job include: • Providing legal counsel services to the County regarding PIP insurance claims • Maximizing PIP payments through account and claim review, demand letters, and legal action • Coordinating services with the County's third-party emergency transport billing contractor • Demonstrating expertise in providing these services, particularly for ambulance/emergency transport agencies • Submitting a detailed statement of experience, qualifications, and background for providing the services • Providing a list of clients for whom similar services have been provided in the past three years • Submitting a list of the five most recent PIP insurance-related court cases brought to conclusion.
