Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to perform semi‑annual preventive maintenance on a fleet of Magnaflux and related magnetic‑particle inspection and demagnetizer equipment located at DLA/Fleet Readiness Center East, Cherry Point, NC. The work includes two on‑site visits per piece of equipment each year (October and April), comprehensive functional checks, calibrations, and any repairs discovered during those visits, with parts reimbursed at actual cost. The contract is structured as a base year with two optional one‑year extensions, all on a firm‑fixed‑price basis.
• Perform two preventive‑maintenance visits per equipment annually (Oct & Apr) covering wiring, sensors, power supplies, magnetic field verification, and more.
• Conduct all repairs identified during visits; parts are reimbursed at actual cost, and optional repairs are priced via a negotiated hourly rate.
• Must be an authorized service center for Magnaflux and Gould Bass, hold ISO 17025 accreditation, and supply OEM parts.
• Contract type: Firm Fixed Price with options; payment through WAWF using DoDAAC routing.
• Work performed at multiple shop locations (≈30 pieces of equipment) within the Cherry Point installation.
