On-Call Geotechnical Engineering & Materials Testing Services

The City of Tucson is seeking approximately eight consultants to provide on-call geotechnical engineering and materials testing services. The contract will have an estimated annual budget of $300,000, with individual projects not exceeding $250,000. The term of the contract will be three years with a two-year renewal option. The selected consultants will provide services on an as-needed basis, including geotechnical engineering, materials testing, and special inspections. The City is looking for consultants with experience in providing similar services, and the selection process will be based on the evaluation of the consultants' qualifications and experience. Some of the key services that will be required include: • Geotechnical engineering services, such as design and recommendations for excavation and fill slope stability, subgrade investigations, and foundation recommendations • Materials testing services, such as field density testing, concrete cylinder sampling, and soils and aggregate testing • Special inspections, such as structural steel inspections and concrete inspections The City is looking for consultants who can provide high-quality services, meet the required certifications and qualifications, and have experience working on similar projects.
