Permanent Dynamic Message Signs

The Kansas Department of Transportation is seeking proposals for the provision of Permanent Dynamic Message Signs. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, from the date of award to July 31, 2031. The signs will be used to display real-time traffic information and other messages to the public. The proposal should include a technical proposal and a cost proposal, and should address the requirements outlined in the RFP. Some of the key requirements include: * The signs must be able to display a minimum of 8 lines of text * The signs must be able to connect to a central control system via a wireless or wired connection * The signs must be able to operate in a variety of environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures and weather conditions * The signs must be able to be powered by a variety of power sources, including solar and battery power The proposal should also include information about the proposer's experience and qualifications, as well as a detailed breakdown of the costs associated with the proposal.
